New district superintendent

We note in checking the NC Parks news releases that Erik Nygaard has just been named as the new North District Superintendent for State Parks (www.ncparks.gov/News/releases/release.php?id=111). If you see our post from 6/1/08, the new Umstead General Management Plan will be one of the first issues he addresses. While we are still lobbying for the active community, it will be critical to have your active support. We will provide information as we know about it.
